I'm back to blog!

Dear all,
After a longgggggggggg break, I'm back again. Reading those bloggers postings makes my fingers itch.

A lot of things happened since I stopped to write years ago! We're now back to Malaysia about 2 mths ago. Still in our adjusting period. Try to 'copy and paste' and 'fill in the blank' kinda phase.

Ini salah sendiri. Aku yg selalu tak sabar. Blogspot tgh dok in progress publish, aku rasa nak tukar s'thing. Aku tak sabar, aku clicked edit post. Volla! Everything's gone!!!! Aku tulis byk pulak tu ari nih.. geram.. geram.. dan sekarang aku dah malas nak tulis semula. Nanti ler kalu aku rajin. Sebab sekarang ni dah nak pergi buat kerja. I just allocate about 15 min of my time on blogging. Chow!

Kaya Puff

Malam ni seperti routine biasa, lepas anak2 besar tidur 9:30 pm, rehat2 sambil tengok tv our fav. channel. Hanna pun join sekali. Malam ni tidur lewat pulak dia. Agaknya nak spend more time with mommy sebab tadi mommy pergi seminar pukul 7 pm baru balik rumah.
Sambil lepak2 teringin pulak nak makan benda manis2. Dlm fridge ada frozen pastry puff. Potong besar tapak tgn, lepas tu masukkan dlm oven. Bila dah golden brown keluarkan dan divide each puff and stuff with kaya kat tengah. Siap! Very easy and simple snack.

Apam balik terbalik jadi corn soup

Pagi ni bangun awal skit dari pagi Sabtu yg biasa. Buat pancake dekat Amanda dan Faris. Pastu lepak depan internet sambil layan Shanana (pet name for Hanna). Abg masih beradu.
Tgh hari abg pergi office, grading exam. He said don't need to worry about his lunch. He'll get s'thing from mc donald. Ahhh.. lega. Anak2 senang jer, rebus telur pastu siram dgn kuah kurma yg memang dah siap. Simpan kat frozen compartment apa2 kuah yg left over. Nanti utk guna bila emergency.
Teringin pulak rasanya nak makan apam balik. Senang jer buat apam balik, guna tpg pancake utk buat batter. Mujur ada sedikit raw peanuts dlm fridge. Goreng. Pastu bukak tin jagung yg memang dah ada dlm pantry. Rupanya jagung tu jenis jagung yg siap direbul dlm air.. bukan jenis dlm cream. Tak best ler kalu nak buat apam balik guna jagung nih... Mujur ler batter tak dibancuh lagi.
Last2 1/3 dari jagung tu dimakan begitu sajer.. dan separuh lagi buat soup ala tibetan. Ini resepi yg diubah suai utk selera sendiri:

Saute' onion and garlic. Add in paprika and chopped tomato. Ketepikan. In a soup pot, cairkan mentega pastu masukkan 1-2 tbs tpg gandum (ikut kepekatan yg disukai). Bila tpg dah brown, masukkan air (kalu ada chicken stock lagi bagus) dan jagung dan bawang yg ditumis tadi. Kalu suka masukkan susu segar. Pastu masukkan dried basil (yg fresh pun tak apa). Basil ni Campur garam secukup rasa. Boleh makan dgn fresh bread atau garlic bread atau begitu sajer.

*Boleh guna jagung dlm tin yg siap direbus atau jagung dari cob.
